Flat items are commonly used to make keychains, phone charms, and bag accessories, while 3D designs can be transformed into pen holders, tissue boxes, photo frames, and various desktop decorations. Before you begin, the essential materials you will need are the Perler beads, a pegboard available in standard square, round, or cartoon shapes, ironing paper, and a crafting iron. Once you have these ready, you can start the fun!
Tutorial for Flat CraftsFirst, align your pegboard with the pattern on the design sheet.
Place the Perler beads onto the corresponding pegs according to the colors.
Cover the design with a piece of ironing paper or ironing cloth.
Set your iron to a low-to-medium temperature and gently iron back and forth over the top for about one minute.
Once one side is ironed, peel off the ironing paper, flip the piece over, place the paper back on, and iron the other side to make the creation stronger and less prone to breaking.
Press the finished piece under a heavy object to keep it perfectly flat, and after a few minutes of cooling, your masterpiece is complete!
